Rebuild Bolivar

Here’s a good site helping the folks of Bolivar Peninsula. There are several ways to help list on the site, including some “Beach Out and Help Someone” events they are sponsoring. The photo galleries from the first event are very illustrative of the damage, and can be found here and here.

Bolivar Panoramic Photos

From the MadNoonie Blog:

We have added a new site of aerial panoramic pictures of Bolivar Peninsula courtesy of “HawkEye Media” He will continue to upload more sections. So if you don’t see your subdivision keep checking back.

HawkEye Media has the unique ability to capture stunning 360° VR images, not only from the ground, but from the air as well. Panoramic photographs provide a 360° field of view, which makes them ideal for showcasing property or large landscapes.

The interactive 360° X 180° immersive panoramic images allow you to put your client anywhere in space. Whether it’s inside a crawlspace or 400′ above the ground, our interactive panoramic’s will allow you to immerse your target audience in an experience they’ll want to tell their friends about.

You can use this cool tool by visiting http://hawkeyemedia.com/bolivar/ or clicking the image above.

These are truly amazing images. It’s a shame it took such devastation to bring this tool to attention, but it’s certainly appreciated nonetheless. The Bolivar story is one that can not get enough attention. Thanks to MadNonnie for the info.
