Craig,
I live in Bay Harbor (next subdivision west of Terra Mar Beach. I wish you had been able to go to Bay Harbor, but I know your time was probably limited. I’m thankful that you got done what you did.
One photo has really sparked my curiosity. The one with the bathroom sink (with backsplash) on a deck a one of the homes. It is exactly the same sink that I had in a storage building on my property in Bay Harbor. We had been doing some remodeling and I had placed it my storage building for safe keeping. If this happens to be the same sink, we have got a real story here.
Let me know of any info you have about the house where the sink was shot by you.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry,
You might want to post your comment on Craig’s Picasa album directly as well to make sure he sees it.

Did anyone get a picture of the Post Office side of the Mariner House? There was a gallery with tons of photos of Carelton Courtyard which is right across the street, but none of the Mariner house. If anyone has pictures I would really love to see what condition my apt. is in. We lived in the white building of the mariner house on Post Office st.

Your pictures are wonderful for anyone to see. You have done an amazing job of letting others see their home. We have the very first home on the beach in Sea Isle from the east. Any beach home pictures would be appreciated. Thanks

Thank you for doinf this. Our house is in Jamacia Beach. I did not see any pictures, and we cannot get down there. It is so frusturating! Our house is the old marina in the back of the subdivision. I am hoping because there are no pictures it is not too bad. But, again, thanks again for doing this…

Hello, this is an UPDATE for missing family (my sister and nephews – Chapman) in Galveston, Tx.
Danielle, Joel & Addison Chapman are alive and well, this conformation came from the Galveston, Tx police department. My heart still goes out to the families who still are looking for their loved ones from Hurricane Ike.
The family (our father, brother and myself) have/were deeply concerned about the safety and welfare of Danielle, Joel and Addison after this storm, Hurricane Ike hit the island. Since there was not any substantial concrete verifiable communication from Danielle or my nephews, in that time frame. It has been a month, we finally got some real answers.
I WILL NOT BE SHAMED about doing what other families or family members would do in this situation, ask for help in finding their loved ones after any major catastrophic event. I wouldn’t shame the father of the boys for doing the same, since he found out on a internet blog about Danielle and his boys were among the missing from Hurricane Ike.
Thanks to the efforts of the following: The Laura Recovery Center, Galveston Police Department, Galveston Sheriff’s Department, Galveston’s Fire Department and to the Wichita Police Department and a special THANKS to the organization which helped by having a place to create the flyers for the missing (children), BeyondMissing.org. Lastly to ALL the Folks who help post this story on the internet, CNN, ( Lan Lamphere and Snark Food podcast) though other blogs, TV Stations, Radio, other listings and just plain posting up the flyers. If I didn’t say it before, Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!.
(They were not victims of Hurricane Ike nor victims of foul play).
Again, our family extends our thoughts and prayers out to everyone and the victims of Hurricane Ike.
God Bless,
Traci Turner,
San Diego, Ca.
