A few photos from Galveston, then video of the drive on Highway 87 through the Bolivar Peninsula. Shot 17 February 2009 from our (kinda dirty) motorhome window. Shocking.
This person took the drive from the ferry landing up to Winnie. It still looks just devastated, but there are definite signs of progress. My heart sure goes out to this neat community.
